When I was 14, I wanted to be Madonna or Marilyn Monroe. Or at least have the hair! I went to a beauty school to be bleached and toned, and knew then what I wanted to be when I grew up. In my early 20’s I found my place within the warm educational bosom of beauty school, and there my passion for hairdressing and was ignited.
Combined with my love of people and customer service, I had found my calling.
During the 30ish years since I began my professional journey, I have worked primarily behind the chair. I’ve been fortunate to work for and with people who encouraged education and provided collaborative environments to work, share and learn within.
I have managed teams, sat on various boards (industry, and non-industry related), taught industry seminars, and attended countless classes and trainings.
I’m driven every day by the joy of getting to know each person I’m working with. Knowing you allows me to bring your vision of yourself into being.

I have been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2010. After school I was eager to learn as much as I could about all things hair. I aligned myself with salons that put an emphasis on continued education. Through those connections I was able to study under several mentors and attend various classes with leading industry experts.
I think the most important aspect of my job is communication. A thorough consultation is essential to create a custom style that suits a person’s lifestyle and maintenance needs. There’s nothing better then creating a look that can help someone feel and look their best.
Some of the services I specialize in include dimensional color, balayage and highlighting, grey coverage, transitioning to grey, haircutting, razor cuts, and curly hair.
